ABOUT MINA PIA

Mina Pia is a Queer Argentine American artist based in Los Angeles. Embracing the strange and surreal, she channels abstract and irreverent energy into her own signature style—gothic psychedelic expressionism.

Through her portraits, she investigates the ways expressions uncover our inner world and identity. While her more abstract pieces reflect on the themes of recurrence and transformation in nature.

Working across both traditional and digital media, Mina is passionate about pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. This pursuit led her to earn a BA in Film and Visual Media with minors in Animation and Media Design from Carnegie Mellon University. She currently works as a Video Editor for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where she proudly contributes to supporting music in her community.
